Will James Bond die in No Time To Die?

A lot of 007 fans are speculating that James Bond could die in this latest installment. Following the death of Judi Dench’s M in Skyfall, it wouldn’t be new ground for the filmmakers to kill off a much-loved and long-standing character. But could they kill off the main protagonist? With it being the end of Daniel Craig’s run, and with the film being pitched as ‘the mission that changes everything,’ Bond’s death is not beyond the realms of possibility; given that a re-boot with a new actor is not far around the corner anyway.

Is Rami Malek playing Dr No?

Since their first glimpse of the character, Bond fans have been speculating that Rami Malek’s mysterious Safin character is actually Dr No. But what has sparked these rumours?

Well, we know that the film is largely based in Jamaica; just like Dr No. We know from one of the trailers that there’s radiation there. When asked if he watched any 007 films to research his character, Malek said, ‘Just Dr No.’ Dr No was an operative of Spectre; the organisation that was just introduced in the last film. And, to top it all off, he even looks like Dr No with his high collar and clinical, ‘tidy’ vibe.

Who is the new 007?

Although the next James Bond actor to carry on the series has yet to be named, we do actually know who will play 007 in No Time To Die – and it’s not Daniel Craig. Because James Bond is retired at the start of the film, his licensed-to-kill codename, 007, was passed to a new agent; Nomi, played by Lashana Lynch.

Will No Time To Die go straight to streaming?

Whilst it’s true that Netflix and Apple TV were both in talks with MGM to stream No Time To Die on their platforms, no deal was made, and the film will be released in cinemas as originally planned.

What is the running time for No Time To Die?

No Time To Die is the longest James Bond film to date, beating Spectre, which held the previous record! No Time To Die has a running time of 2 hours 43 mins.
